New project thing? READ DESC. (CLOSED)

So everyone is complainign that I'm complaining about things but not actually doing anything about it (no one in particular bcs there was a lot of people who did) so o o o

I had an idea! I'll call it..
#MikuMikuPositivity Project. 
So.

How this will work is in a similar way to a Secret Santa (only....minus the gifts um). If one wants to enter, they comment on this post and they're entered into the system. In 5 days or so, entry will be CLOSED. And then, you'll all be noted 1 other MMDer that entered privately, which has been selected from a random draw. 

You must go to this person's page and compliment them/their art, try to befriend them, or simply give them a "hi!" or a friendly comment. Basically, do something that will brighten their day. Just be kind to them. You can mention that you were part of the project, or maybe you're just gonna be kind. It doesn't matter. the bottom line is: say something to your person that you think might make them smile.

You can leave 1 comment to them or 10. it doesn't matter. As long as you leave 1, it is considered as you have made the effort though.
Once you've left your comment you come back and note me, saying "done" or something along those lines. And you'll be counted as having fulfilled the "task" and crossed off the list.

Meanwhile, some other entrant will have received YOU in a note privately, so they'll come to your page and give you a comment, friendly greeting, etc...so you'll get a kind word too! And you never know, it could just be from someone you really admire..

So it's like a system of being kind to one another! The aim in starting this is that it might help to create new friendships and bring some others in the community closer together, as well as put a smile on some faces! Joining is free ofc and isn't like a Secret Santa where you gotta make a big gift for your person. All you have to do is be kind!  

I'm just hoping that this doesn't cause any drama.
let's try this. if this all works well then this can be like a regular thing! Like a round of these once every few months..it would be nice. You always feel good when you compliment others and receive compliments from what I've seen. Perhaps it'll make a small change in making the community that bit less hateful, and that bit more accepting instead.

Regarding the random picking of pairs, there is one thing I'd like to say, though:
I have been in the MMDC a while now. I know that certain users do not like other users due to past drama, fights, etc. I know who these people are for the most part, so I will personally ensure you are not paired with anyone you dislike to prevent any awkwardness or discomfort. AND, if there is any user you know who has entered who you would prefer to NOT be paired with, note me and tell me their name. I will ensure you aren't paired with them.
It might seem a bit much to trust me with that responsibility but I can assure you that the info won't get out; I have no reason to leak it. it'll stay confidential and you won't be paired with that person at your request. And, they also won't be getting you as their person.

That kinda seems like it's defeating the purpose of the whole exercise but; it's just to ensure everyone is comfortable! Other than that, the person you receive will be picked from like a raffle thing online or something :') so it won't be rigged

Entry to this project will be closed on September 9th at 11:59PM GMT. After that I'll be sending out the notes and it will begin.
